A portrait showing a healthy Gym life style during a workout , the Photo was softly lit to stop dark shadows with basic studio lights set at 45% to the front left and right of the subject , water spray was used to resemble a workout .

When you take a portrait or life style photograph of someone , get in close . Not with a short lens . I always use a zoom lens so you can slip in and out of ranges as you shoot. This keeps your distance and relaxes the person you are taking the photos of . The use of the eyes is an important part of portraiture , they 99% have to be in focus apart from alternative portraits. Hair , why keep it tidy I always do the lest part of a portrait with ruffled hair it adds interest .
